Gleamer, a global leader in artificial intelligence for radiology, has acquired Caerus Medical, a pioneering company specializing in AI-powered solutions for diagnosing lumbar spine pathologies from MRI scans. With this acquisition, Gleamer expands its expertise on X-ray, CT & Breast imaging to MRI imaging, further strengthening its position as a key innovator in AI-powered medical imaging.

The Caerus Medical solution has been efficiently developed in just three years by David Vittecoq (CEO and minority shareholder), with the financial and operational support of its majority strategic shareholder, France Imageries Territoires, a leading French imaging group. Caerus Medical has developed an advanced AI software solution that automates and enhances the diagnosis of lumbar spine disorders from MRI scans, providing radiologists with increased accuracy and efficiency.

Both shareholders were convinced that Gleamer was the best strategic partner to drive the rapid growth of Caerus Medical’s sales. As part of the transaction, David Vittecoq will continue to manage Caerus Medical, demonstrating his confidence in the group’s vision and its potential to shape the future of AI in radiology.

This transaction is one of the first acquisitions completed by Gleamer and represents a major step towards building a comprehensive platform of AI-assisted diagnostics of a wide range of pathologies.
